My next thought is that cell phone 911 is too slow, and turn for the home phone. Grab it, and while dialing 911 start running back outside.
I get the operator on the phone and as I am explaining what has just happened, when I am about to run around the corner something catches my
eye. It is another guy jumping into a car about 4 houses down with the car taking off down the street and it's lights off. It is
too far away for me to get a make and model and description of the guy, but I give a description of the others and the other car to
the 911 operator. She tells me officers are in route and not more then 1 minute later two police come flying up my street.
I start explaining what happened to the officers as I hear them say that they stopped the blue Camaro only blocks from my house. I
am now thinking great we got them. I continue to explain what happened to the officers when they ask me if I can tell them if there
were any markings on the back of the 'T'shirt one of the guys was wearing. I told them I didn't look at them with that kind of detail. I
then asked them if they found any of my things. I am told that none of my stuff was in the blue Camaro and they must of thrown
it into the second car! (I have yet gone to get the police report to find out if they made any progress in locating my stuff).
I call my fiancee to come on down to help me think of some of the other things they might have taken. I turns out they took:
Now let me tell you how stupid these guys are:
After the police let me start touching the car again, I looked at what had really happened as far as damage and loss. The first thing
I notice is when they stole the sub woofer they yanked it out of the car. They left the connector which supplies the power, ground,
remote, and signal in the car. (Not sure how they plan on using this thing? and the speaker and amp are too cheap to use alone)
The last couple of days, I have been replaying the events in my head. (I hate this) I always think of all the things I should have done,
but didn't. I recognized the blue Camaro because I have seen it drive up and down my street every couple of days. So I know that it is
some of the local kids. I guess they are lucky that I decided to grab my cell phone and not my
S&W stainless 9mm!
Unlike the 98 which is alarmed and has a few other goodies, I didn't think I needed to do that on my Black 91 daily driver. Guess I was
wrong! Well, I bought a window from the junk yard, and it took me longer to clean all the glass then to install it. I also have a new
alarm that I bought and it is going in this weekend. (at least I will have keyless entry now! - always trying to look on the bright
side.)
And if any of you are wondering... My insurance has a $250 deductible against theft, but wouldn't cover the amp, sub, sun glasses,
mag light, or tool kit because they were not factory or in a factory location! The radio was not damaged after I bent a few things
back into place, and the glass was $80 after tax.

Here is some of the passenger side door glass on the sidewalk and in the street

Busted Window!

Glass Everywhere...

Radio yanked out, but at least still in the car.

More glass, and the outer ring to the radio.

Another view.

This is a picture of the trunk. You can see the wiring harness still there along with the face to the amp!

A darker view of the same trunk picture.
