Pictures and Description of my 2G - 1G Head Swap |


I threw this picture in as a reminder to line up the cam gears.You do
this by lining up the two side marks.


Here I am re-installing the engine motor mount stud. I removed it, and re-installed
it using a jam nut.


I am installing the new gaskets into the Valve Cover. I also applied a light amount
of oil so they would not stick to the head.


Installing the exhaust manifold.


It is getting there...


I installed the catch can that I got from summit to the side of the engine compartment
with a custom aluminum bracket. This was about the only location in the engine compartment
where I could find any room.


This is the "U"-pipe. I did not know what it was exactly until I realized I did not have
it, and had to order one from the dealer.


I had to clean the threads on the turbo. Remember I lost 2 bolts! ;)


I got the 16G turbo and down pipe bolted up.


I had to move the ignitor again. I made a bracket to hold it to one of the fuel rail bolts.
