Pictures of my New Short Block getting assembled

As many of you know it was time for me to choose a company to build me a short block.
After talking to all of the big name DSM vendors I made a decision. I went with Extreme MotorSports.
I figured if they can build some of the fastest dsm in the country, they could build me a short block
capable of holding 500+ HP.

They sent me a few pictures of my short block being assembled, and I thought I would share them with you.

This is a picture of the piston rings. They are file fit.

Freshly painted block. Cylinders were torque plate bored .020 over and you can
see that the block was decked and groved for an O-ring.

Underside of the block. View from the oil pan. You can see the ARP Main Studs

Another view of the ARP Main Studs. The holes over to the right are
where the balance shafts would be. That's right no balance shafts in this
block!

This is a picture of the Venolia 7.5-1 Compression pistons mounted to
Crower Rods. You can see how thick the Crower rods are!

Here is a picture of the competed short block. Pistons mounted in the
short block. You can see how the (1 and 4) and (2 and 3) pistons move together
